From early work life to chamber leadership and diplomacy
Mehmet ลahin was born in Alanya in 1972 and completed his primary and secondary education in the city. He started working at a young age and later built a career in trade.
Alongside business, he engaged actively in social life and public service. He served as Vice President of Alanyaspor (2003โ2004), and later held roles within the AK Party Alanya District organization (Deputy Chairman, 2004โ2009) and served a term as District Chairman in 2007.
In 2010, he became a founder of the Alanya Currency Exchangers' Union. He served as President of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) from 2013 to 2022, and was selected as a member of the TOBB Council for Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
In 2018, he was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Alanya, a role aligned with his focus on international relations and promotion activities.
